BMW’s OE Intercoolers prove to be the limiting factor in tuning, with IAT often exceeding 60°, and in our F30s with the intercooler upgrade installed, we saw a maximum of 35° on the dyno. We have several improvements depending on your platform.

A quick and easy solution would be a meter valve (Straight Plug) which allows the stock pump to maintain rail pressure at higher RPMs. On top of that, you need to see the Fuel Pump Upgrade.
We also recommend upgrading the rail pressure sensor as the 2200 BAR stock sensor cannot read high enough.
Next will be HPFP and injectors. Installing the injectors alone will add an additional 10-15 horsepower (395-405 hp) to the improvements above, but more notably, 60 ft/lbs (610 ft/lbs) of torque!
